2014 WASHINGTON STATE CUVÉE
2014 WASHINGTON STATE CUVÉE

Walla Walla Vintners is known for our unique skills in blending varietals, vineyards, oaks and AVAs. The 2014 Cuvée is a prime example of our artistic work. All six Bordeaux noble red grapes are in this mix from eleven selected vineyards and then cradled in oak from America, France and Hungry for 19 months. This delicious Cuvée opens with a chocolate covered cherry nose followed on the palate by fig chutney with sweet roasted fresh garden tomatoes and eggplant. The long finish brings to mind herb de Provence on lamb chops.  Yum! ~ Myles Anderson

Winemaker's Notes:

Inviting aromas of raspberries, blueberry cobbler, licorice and a touch of spice. Smooth tannins wrap around blackberry, cassis and dark chocolate flavors with hints of vanilla and toast. ~ William vonMetzger

AVAs Sourced:

Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley, Wahluke Slope
